“How to build an Enterprise Change Capability?”

This event far surpassed the theoretical implications of change. In a remote setting, Johnson & Johnson presented how they are building an enterprise change capability to stay relevant. We are not allowed to share the details. But it’s safe to say: the content sparked a deep sense of recognition in the audience.

Many CMP members share a similar way of working, set of challenges and general feel around these types of projects. That’s why – despite the busy calendars – there’s always a high turnout for CMP events. Everyone brings an open mindset, shares their learnings, and appreciates each other’s input.

“Interactive Masterclass”

Welcoming an industry leader like Kotter Insitute to share insights on the evolving landscape of change management. That’s a definite showstopper! In an interactive session, Nick Petschek (Managing Director of Kotter EMEA) explored topics such as adaptive versus change-resistant cultures, essential change skills, and the need for change-friendly systems.

How can we shape culture?

Change leads to chaos. Transformation entails a period in which the old is gone, and the new isn’t here yet. Corporate anthropologist and best-selling author Jitske Kramer introduced us to the concept of liminality—the messy middle stage where everything feels uncertain. 

In many cultures, this in-between phase is embraced as a crucial part of transformation. What was, no longer is. What will be, is unknown. What we have, is chaos and uncertainty. Yet, as Jitske explained, this is also where new stories are formed—stories that ultimately shape the culture of what comes next.
